The winner for this year for the Micheel Pfeffer Vegeatrian Advocacy Award goes to Linda Capps!

She has dedicated a lot of her time and energy helping to promote vegetarianism and animal rights.

• Founder of Meatout (annual festival to promote vegetarianis) in Knoxville. This is a national campaign like the Great American Smokeout to encourage people to stop smoking but this is the Great American Meatout. Linda was the founder of this event in Knoxvile.


• Regularly volunteers to come to people¹s homes (strangers) to teach them to cook vegetarian food


• PETA rep for Knoxville


• Vends vegetarian food at local festivals such as Vestival


• Served on the board for VSET
